One of many stunning pieces on board, and one that the Lürssen project manager called one of AHPO’s greatest design achievements, is the interior’s spiral staircase. The complex balustrade represents an olive tree growing over several decks, piece by piece, and on the wall, a bas-relief runs over five decks, each with its own color theme.
The staircase wraps around an elliptical sculpture whose central column supports delicate handmade crystal feathers that appear to fall to the floor. The steps themselves incorporate marble, leather and Tai Ping silk carpeting.
A geometric design in bronze over backlit Calacatta marble framing marks the entrance to the main saloon, and abundant glass surfaces add a cheery and spacious effervescence throughout. Her many features include a fully commercial helipad, a penthouse-inspired two-story owner’s suite, an eight-meter swimming pool, numerous Jacuzzis, a 12-seat cinema with LED star-studded ceilings, and a large winter garden on the aft deck that can be completely open or closed as needed.
Glass surfaces dominate the space, with massive doors wrapping around the aft deck winter garden where the owners spend a vast majority of their time. A favorite spot for any who step aboard, the well-protected enclosable garden is lush with greenery and makes for a conversation starter year-round. The space is vast and verdant, with room enough to accommodate formal dining and entertaining.
Achieving Zen in AHPO’s Spa
In the spa, created by interior outfitter List, the theme of nature is also dominant, with a focus on curves, waves, and leaves. Natural bamboo stems are encapsulated between two backlit glass panes, creating a beautiful backdrop for the bar and the massage room. A truly Zen-like design philosophy was embraced, with teak stripes undulating behind a plunge pool and guiding the water that falls with a quiet trickling sound. The wellness space also includes a Turkish-style hammam with vibrant mosaics by Sicis and a fountain inlaid with ivory onyx and swirling mosaics. Fiber optics in the ceiling create a galaxy of little stars, while the curvaceous sauna boasts Himalayan salt bricks inserted into the walls.

AHPO sleeps up to 16 guests in 8 opulent staterooms and also comes with 4 staff cabins to accommodate security, chefs, nannies, or other staff. Nuvolari Lenard designed the pieces in the white saloon on the owners’ deck, where seashells inspired the design of the tables and the ceiling’s high-gloss 3D lacquer finish — and the bird motif throughout, featuring cranes and flamingos, represents the ship’s airy, breezy design. The entrance to the owners’ suite is inspired by maple trees and bluebirds, who feature prominently in the design aesthetic. The beautiful fabric wall covering was designed mosaic-style by Sicis. The owners’ suite enjoys very low decibel levels, even at top speeds, and has two private balconies, accessible through automated sliding doors.
Health and Wellness Inspired Facilities
Another major theme in the yacht’s design is fitness and wellness. The owners’ private duplex includes a gym that puts most luxury hotel gyms to shame, with furniture designed in red lacquer, along with attractive synthetic flooring, equipment by Technogym and bikes by Peloton, plus custom-made dumbbells provided by Gym Marine. The entire space has been personalized, including Nuvolari Lenard-designed logos. Aside from input from Gym Marine, the owners themselves had considerable say in the design flow, capturing the health and wellness themes that they value.
Old Hollywood Design Sets the Cinema Apart
Another delectable space is the 12-seat cinema. Sicis created three portraits in black and white fabric mosaics of the owners’ favorite actors and artists—Dorothy Dandridge, Sidney Poitier, and Sammy Davis Jr – from photos they selected beforehand, adding a pinch of vintage Hollywood allure to the elegance of the cinema space. The starlit ceiling provides a truly star-studded accent to the space, and the room is dominated by old Hollywood grandeur meeting 21st century technological opulence.
