M/Y KISMET Causes a Stir in London
The world’s most expensive charter yacht KISMET, which Moran Yacht & Ship oversaw the complete construction of, was delivered to her owner just a week ago following her launch last September.
She is currently located in London after a brisk cruise up the KISMET will be available for charter at 1.2 million Euros per week, making her one of the most expensive yachts for charter anywhere in the world.
Built by Lurssen in Germany, the yard responsible for more than half of the top ten largest yachts cruising the world’s oceans today, KISMET is a replacement for her 223 ft. (68m) predecessor and sister vessel after her owner decided it was time for an upgrade.
Features
The splendid motor yacht can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 opulent staterooms, with the master stateroom featuring its own private deck compete with a Jacuzzi and access to the yacht’s helipad.
Other features include three different areas which guests can lounge or dine in, a sundeck complete with swimming pool, a unique winter garden deck, a relaxing full-service spa and a one-of-a-kind retractable outdoor fireplace.
Her exterior design is by multiple-award-winning Norwegian designer Espen Oeino, while her decadent interior is by the world-renowned Reymond Langton.
Moran Yacht & Ship’s Role
KISMET is the sixth transaction which Moran Yacht & Ship has completed for her extremely experienced owner. We have had the pleasure of representing him for over 15 years to date.
Our venerable new construction team, consisting of Simon England, Patrick Foy, Robert and Paul Moran oversaw everything related to her build, from the negotiation of the building contract itself to compilation of her technical specifications and negotiation of her interior costs which resulted in spectacular motor yacht coming to fruition.
