In 1982, Dave Christensen set out to build a yacht for personal use. When he was unable to find a yard that would perform to his high standards, he set out to build the boat himself. By 1985, Christensen Yachts was incorporated and a year later the shipyard was open for business. Located in Vancouver, Washington along the Columbia River, the yard focuses on building custom luxury motor yachts from 100′ – 165′.
